If Spurs offered him back for £25M would you take him back?
Nope only a loan, it’s their fault for buying

Imagine starting with either Elanga or Johnson and swapping them round after an hour. Carnage. If Spurs offered him back for £25M would you take him back?
No chance. We have four wingers, at least three of which are better than him.If Spurs offered him back for £25M would you take him back?

Without a doubt, Spurs wouldn't go for it but I'd take a loan as well, got a lot of time for him.If Spurs offered him back for £25M would you take him back?

When we're looking at spending £30m on Nketiah, then yes.If Spurs offered him back for £25M would you take him back?
Some of us said this at the time though.Problem was that they paid a premium price for him and he was sold as an elite player but he’s just not got the tools to be an elite player.
He’s good. He does what he does. But he’s not got anything at a top level other than pace.
Yep. Agreed 100%Some of us said this at the time though.
He's a decent finisher, but he's not that natural, he isn't instinctive in the sense someone like Chris Wood is, for example. Most of the opportunities he has are reliant on the pace to get into the place where he has time to think about the finish and that's when he usually hits the target. If he has less time it's usually not as successful.
As a winger his end product for things like crosses/assists is also a bit variable.
Take 10-20% of his speed away and he's borderline not a PL player IMO.
We got more because they could market a higher ceiling for a player who had stood out in a struggling defensive side after 1 PL season.
Yeah and we'd get him firing again then sell him to Chelsea for £60mIf Spurs offered him back for £25M would you take him back?
Agree with this. But that doesn't hide the fact that it was terrible recruitment by Spurs. BJ is totally unsuited for their style of play. He needs space to run into at pace, whereas Spurs control possession and regularly have to play in tight spaces to break down a packed defence and that highlights his technical faults.Problem was that they paid a premium price for him and he was sold as an elite player but he’s just not got the tools to be an elite player.
