Leeds fans seem happier at the prospect of losing Johnson than they do about Becchio leaving...
 
Cloughy this is the second thread you have started about a player moving between forest and leeds and neither appear to be happening hus far?! Are you a leeds fan on the wind up by any chance?

I don't see why you would use Bradley Johnson for a wind up..bit boring.
 
We tried to sign him before in his Northampton days didn't we?

To be honest pal I happen to be privy to info regarding the odd Forest player here and there and due to my occupation I perhaps know more about Leeds than your average Leeds fan...

We won't sign Becchio, we may have stated interest but he is off abroad somewhere

Don't know if we will sign Johnson, but we are, thus far, the only team to bid

Kelvin will, as far as I understand, join Leeds, with Celtic not as interested as they were a few months back

I do not know if any of these rumours/stories are linked, but in my opinion and based on what I have been told, it would appear that some kind of swap deal is in motion.

Do not be surprised to see the end of Nathan Tyson either (but this rumour is dodgy as owt and I am posting it as nothing more than a bit of gossip)

The Leeds fans I've talked to would rather lose Johnson than Becchio.. I don't know enough about either to have much of an opinion :)

Agree with that. He's a hard worker but I don't see how he'd get anywhere near our midfield. I would put Raddy, McGoogle, Cohen, McKenna and Moose all ahead of him. And to be honest I'd rather have Tyson on the wing as well.
 
Cohen hasnt had the greatest of starts to the season but im sure he will come good sooner or later; it would help if billy played him in his best position though. We cant blame cohen for his performances when he is played out of position week in wek out.
 
What we need to do is berate him from the terraces every time he does anything, and on the rare occasion when he does it right we should cheer and sing his name in ironic jubilation.

That should pick his form right up, worked a treat with goalkeeper.

What position is that? He has been playing the in the centre..and still wasn't great?

Johnson was interviewed with Talksport yesterday talking about why he has refused a new contract. He just wanted "equality" with other players in terms of wages and Leeds were not offering. He said "I haven't spoken to anyone other than Leeds, because I want to remain at Leeds" That is a direct quote from the man himself. He is a better player than Becchio and Leeds fans are against Johnson now because Master Bates stirred the pot in a matchday program last weekend... He was put on the transfer list but did say he has heard nothing from the club!

Kelvin is deffinately not off to Leeds, they will not pay the wages he will get at Celtic. Leeds are not paying super wages at present and are looking to cut the wage bill... Orders from Ken Bates and quoted in a recent interview somewhere.

Becchio is attracting interest from clubs, rumours are, we have approached him and a deal is still very much on the cards...


I would prefer Johnson over Becchio, but he plays in the same position as Prattley, so doubt we are interested..
