Boyd back at Peterborough!

Meh, he didn't impress when he came here towards the end of last season.. He looks a decent player but not good enough for a team that's planning on securing automatic promotion this season.

Was never given a chance, I would liked to of seen more of him. He seemed to have a good touch and football brain. More so than Tyson at any rate.

Was never given a chance

Didn't he start the very first game after coming here?

Despite showing a few nice touches with the ball, he looked about as up for it and "raring to go" as Wayne Rooney at the World Cup and without the ball, he was nowhere to be seen.

I think Billy decided there and then that he wasn't the right kind of player for this club, hence why he featured little afterwards. If he'd actually put in 100% in that very first game, things might have panned out different. Start as you mean to go and all that.

Quite a number of our current players fit into that catagory!

wanted to like him but he didn't make it easy.

good luck to him.

Do we get back the £500,000 we were rumoured to have shelled out for his services at the arse end of last season?

One word PLEAT! and a costly point made by billy to ND! I very much doubt that will happen again!

Good luck to him. From what I saw, and it wasn't much, he looked like a decent enough player.

No - they spent YOUR season ticket money on that.

Sorry, went all Daily Express there for a moment ...

Blackstock played for and professed his loyalty to QPR long after he had signed for us last season. I don't have any strong opinion on boyd but nothing is certain until the first game of the season.

Good riddance to f***ing rubbish.

Thoughts along those lines, with the same thoughts to the ridiculous rumours started at Peterborough about the amount his loan period cost Forest.

Had he turned out to be the missing cog, driving the team forward, never missing out on an appearence, scoring goals for fun etc etc...then certain clauses would have kicked in, as it was he was hardly a success...so apart from wages and a signing on fee, his cost was never ever £500,00, or even close to it.

lets not slate him too much as be may come back to haunt us

How can anyone slate him when we have Tyson on the left ? Runs into blind corners and couldn't control the ball to save his life. All this Billy vaunted pace formation is fricking useless if there's nobody who can actually control the ball and play them through.
