Hello Guys. Wonder if you can help me. I'm coming to the city gound on tuesday with my 6 year old. Her first game. Travelling from birmingham and need a good place to park thats not to far from the ground. Can anyone recommend a car park please.

There are some car parks you have to pay for around the ground. :)

Because you are new to the area I would reccomend parking in one of those, costs around £2-3.

the council building charges like 4 quid I think, very close. Or the road that leads up to West Bridgford tennis club, your not supposed to park in the actual club though....

Park on the banks of the River Trent, costs a fiver though - but is ALOT securer than the local neighborhoods!

Oh sell Nottingham to him, why don't you Benchwarmer!!

If you know what you're doing there's a decent amount of street parking available in the West Bridgford area, but the council building (or one of the other car parks) might be easiest for you.

I know last season away fans parked in Notts County's ground and they opened up there bars for the away fans. Think it's about £4. Also opposite the entrance to this car park is another car park.

Either the above or Trent Embankment near Trent Bridge.

Welcome, there is a little relatively unknown FREE spot you can park no more than a 5 minute walk from the ground. The road is called 'Ironmonger Road' it is just by Nott's County's ground. I usually park there on matchdays :)

Just drive into the mainstand car park and look for the spot marked 'David Pleat.'

That's usually free.

If you drive by Notts County's ground just over the river there's plenty of secure parking there for £3-4. Including at Meadow Lane itself probably.

Then you get the frankly beautiful experience of walking over Trent Bridge to see the ground nestling on the river :)

Yes there is plenty of good FREE parking spots in West Bridgeford, but this boro fan doesnt know the area, so I advise he just drives round till he finds a secure one :)

With the expected crowd you'll have few problems parking pretty much anywhere.

County Hall on Loughborough Road (large building, green roof) is £4, and there's always away fans in there, and never any bother.

Which is still more than your pre-Munto average crowds :)

Cheers Guys. Seems there are loads of ploaces to park nearby. Didn't want to walk to far as with my daughter. Her first game thought it was a good one to take her to. Competative but not that big a crowd. I'd be suprised if we brought more than 500-750 if that.

Aye, it should be a low crowd that's for sure. A good introduction!

Henry road in west bridgeford seems to be where everyone parks for free. Always seems to be busy on a match day and always see a lot of football/cricket fans walking to the game from cars parked on there. Not sure about parking regulations though as I dont own a vehicle myself so have never had to abide by any.
