He is actually a half decent player and would add to squad, if its possible for him to sign I think we should seriously think about it, even if its a earn as you play deal?

Only snag I can see is i he's allowed to sign, don't players have to be released BEFORE the transfer deadline to be allowed to sign?

Don't think so, you only have to be a free agent otherwise the FA have basically screwed him out of a potential 6 months pay

How have they? He could have stayed at Reading and be payed for 6 months.
