Great choice mental Irish bloke or mental Scot! Spoilt for choice.

surely we've got some sort of first refusal on him, at the very least our bid will have to be accepted. we paid a fairly large sum just to get him on loan. I imagine he will sign permanently, even if other teams are sniffing. We can offer a fairly good contract to him, and add to that the fact he is loved here, wanted by Billy and has already forged a great partnership with 2 of our strikers....

Then again, QPR are corrupt at board level and this is Forest's negotiation "skills" we are talking about!!!

We'll have to wait and see I suppose!!

Don't see why we can't sign Blackstock on a perm basis. When he signed on loan and asked the question if he'd sign on a perm basis, his reply was that he would see what league we were in.

Keane can feck off, why would he want to go to Ipswich? A club that think they're too big for their boots and again will do nothing next season! As for Anderson, I don't see any reason why we couldn't get him on a season long loan again.

Get him signed as soon as, Anderson would be a nice to have but Blackstock is an absolute must.

We should have learned from the past that when you've got a player who's working for you, sign him up. We missed out on Robbie Blake and we missed out on Huckerby, and it cost us dearly both times. I reckon it's worth paying a little over the odds in this instance because when you've had a player on loan he's tried and tested, so it's worth a few quid more than a gamble on a different player who might end up being a disaster, i.e. Marlon King.

Gunter, Blackstock, McSheffrey in!

that's right ,and hopefully blackstock is enjoying it at forest as well and demand to come here :) perhaps QPR will do a BOGOF for dexter & camp!

This is simply a must. Surely signing of the season, if not, one of the singings of the season.

7 points are down to him, his two goals gaining 3 points and 1 point against Brizzle and Blackpool respectively, and that hold up and lay off for Perchy against Coventry.

Well done that man!

Out of all our loan signings this year, I think Dexter is the key, and most likely to sign. Signing him should be number 1 priority now.

Yes please! I'll drive down and pick them up if they want.

God, the dark, dark days of Eugene Dadi seem like a million miles away. It's been a bumpy road, but we're getting there!

i remember watching us lose 1-0 at southend a couple of years back and thinking to myself "this is the worst forest team i've ever seen " no pace, couldn't pass , no passion etc ...piss poor...it really stuck in my mind how shit it was but now i am really looking forward to next season as hopefully we could have the best side we've had for a while , the board MUST back davies in the summer .

Having see the picture below I don't think we should sign Blackstock.

Doing cruel impressions of Robert Earnshaw is bang out of order

Strikers aren't normally my favourite players, as I try to be a defender myself, I like defenders.

Blackstock has been wonderful for us and he'll always have a special place in my heart, not just because he has one of the best names in football.

I agree fully with that. He's been the catalyst to us improving as a team, and has brought so much more than goals to the table. Ormerod was instrumental in getting us up last season, this season the man who has kept us up is Blackstock.

Although I was a mad Forest fan as a kid, I was too young to appreciate what the likes of Campbell and van Hooijdonk could do in terms of holding up a ball and distributing it in good time. Blackstock has those qualities and it's great to watch. He'll be a key part of a passing game, controlling the ball and waiting for the runs of Cohen and co. ahead of him.

We've already agreed a fee with QPR said the OS when he joined, now we must persuade him to stick around a bit longer.
