After these comments I can't see him being welcomed back with open arms ! But it's nice to have a player wanting to join us, making noises to try persuade their club for a change. I'm glad the bunch of players and team in general is such an attractive proposition to these loaned players.

i can't get over the change in interview styles tbh.

First interview, basically looked pissed off at being forced out, and didnt commit himself to anything. now every interview he seems to be itching to get here ! such a change !

Long may it continue, I'm genuinely surprised that BD has turned the inside of the dressing room round so much that a top quality striker would leave a playoff pushing side to a team that has just avoided relegation ! He seems to just know how to motivate each player and get the right responses. A long time since we saw anything like that eh !

I get more positive by the day at the direction the club is going. Certainly a big change in 6 months and long may it continue. Lets just hope Billy gets the backing he deserves ! Funny how Pleat hasn't had a mention for a long time !

The thought has just struck me that if we can sign up one or two decent players early it will help in attracting others, many of whom will have a choice of several championship clubs ,all say they are progressive blah blah blah.
But where is the evidence of said ambition ?
Having said that most footballers are hardly Mensa material and are more influenced by££££££s and agents. :wacko:
