Billy talks on this weeks npower Football League podcast

Apparently I don't have the required plug in! Does he say anything exciting or the same old things?
 
The Championship is always the same... anybody can beat anybody...the playoffs is a lottery... it's luck....you've just got to accept it... getting to the playoffs was a remarkable acheivement...target for the season was steady progression, to try and equal or better last season...McGugan has got a lot of work to do, was sloppy off the field previously, has worked hard.. is a different Lewis... Re: relationship with the board: One manager's moan is anothers explanation (!)...because it's in the paper doesn't mean it's true, it was down to a change of agenda.. (talks about time keeping etc again). I've never had a fall out or a cross word with ND, MA or Pelling... advise and recommend.. last permanant signing was 17 months ago... etc etc... Re: blockage in getting transfers in? Side stepped this. Re: are you being unreasonable with targets? Give different options and different levels of targets to move this club forward. Everyone at the club wants to move the club forward and get to the Prem. (same old discussion re TAP). Re: do you thrive on conflict Billy - gets more animated...advise and recommend, one manager's moan etc etc

I havent listened to it, but could quite possibly have predicted the bulk of that before. Biggest suprise is that he didnt mention his bloody lawyer!!
 
Seem to be getting an anti Billy vibe.

Some are just so bloody quick to jump on Billy's back around here.

I thought it was a good interview, just that Clem didn't ask about Blackstock which i thought was strange.

Not at all, think he's a top manager just boringly predictable in terms of his moans. Can't help he'd be better off shutting up and getting on with his job.
 
He's been asked a few questions in this interview and he's answered them quite well.

I thought it was a good interview and Billy handled it well - yes he is considered confrontational because he doesn't just instantly agree with the interviewers viewpoint - I thought Mark Clemit is a very good jovial interviewer aswell. Said he has never had an irate word with several members of the board or Nigel .. no cross words or disagreements - he said he gives recommendations but he doesn't know the financials - which he said is the way it should be.

"One Managers Moan is another Managers explanation"
