Billy's a loose cannon and the whole situation will end in tears at some stage. As I have said before I have worked with guys like this in important positions and they always acheive their personal objectives by creating friction within the organisation and I have to say this is a fairly common 'modus operendi' among west coast Scots. Have you never noticed that the Scots have to kick against something all the time?
He will be building loyalty within his team but mark my words it will be at the expense of the club as a whole!
I think Billy needs to tow the line or piss off!

If true, I think it's a good thing. Leeway at work is directly linked to success, and to be frank we've had none under Billy. Yes, a high league position, but for him to be getting away with this sort of thing we would have needed to be promoted.
Hopefully it will either kick him into line, or he'll no longer be our manager, but won't be taking a huge chunk of money out of the club if/when sacked.
I hate the fact that Billy says these things in the media. They were tolerable when we were winning, but we were humiliated over the two biggest games of last season, and I hold Billy responsible. Let's not forget, he decided that for the two weeks before the game he was going to take a 'back seat' and let the team be managed by Ned. What a terrible way to prepare for a playoff game.

I've said it before and i'll say it again... Billy Davies is a whiny little shit who doesn't know how lucky he is. I'm pleased he's been given a formal warning and I hope he stuffs a few rolls of sellotape in to his string vest today so we can sack him in the morning.
