We're going down. I'm more sure this morning than I've been all season.

Results last night were awful and every team around us (except Southampton) has a deeper squad.

I have got that sinking feeling - it all balances on tonight. We lose - we're down. We win - we're up.

What a load of balls, theres 14 games left, and were not in the relegation zone.

I'm not liking the vibe from BD, he seems to be laying groundwork for excuses.

If we need players, there is no doubt in my mind that Doughty would allow it.

How can you say that keeping a team in the Championship is better than taking a team into the Premiership? It shows the difficulty of the job that BD has and also shows that it is very unlikely that we will be bringing anyone in on loan.

This interview does not fill me with hope, or optimism, but dread. :(

I have no doubt that Doughty would allow players to come in, but whether we can do it is another matter. It's the same old sticking points that did for Hart, Calderwood etc.

He does have a point about the achievement, but we were already out of the bottom three when he arrived. If we won all of our remaining home games we'd have enough points to stay up.

Just read the first two paragraphs of that interview what aload of b*****ks already.

Saving us from Relegation would be a bigger achievement than what he done for Derby, p**s off BD. Another 4 wins from now till the end of the season and we will be safe.  Is that so hard ?

Not f**king rocket science.

Bulls**t.

The last couple of weeks the man has been talking me out of liking him tbh.

Lets be honest BD took over because the previous manager was doing a poor job, but he didn't really make excuses did he, everything was OK "I'm proud of the players" etc came out of his mouth, when they cleary wasn't, whats the point of BD saying theres money to spend, the kids are good enough etc if things are not that way.

He would be slated for saying everything is good he's being slated for being a little negative and he would be slated for saying nothing.

The saying your dammed if you do and your dammed if you don't spring to mind.

Nonsense - this is a load of balls.

You and me both. So much so that I am popping to the bookies to put a decent amount of money on us being relegated. I may as well take financial advantage of what I think will be a pretty depressing time. And if we stay up I will not care I have lost the money.

I really don't think we will be relegated.

I just don't see why BD is making such a big deal of it. Within two weeks we will ave 3 players back that will make a massive differnce to our squad. They could be classed as new signings

Im pretty confident of staying up, and that's why all this bullshit coming from BD's mouth is getting to me. He's making it out as if we have a squad full of people that have never played the game before. Well excluding lynch that's not the case.

I still haven't quite got the measure of BD yet, and i'm not entirely sure what to make of him, or even why he is here. He strikes me as thinking he's too good for this job and brought into be the saviour of Forest. Here's been here for a good while now, well in terms of management in football a long time. Stop talking about what you and your backroom staff were brought here to do, and actually do it my friend.

Why does it appear that players don't even want to come to Forest these days.

If as is reported, Mchsheffrey is now interesting the Blunts & Palace, you just know were he won't be going.

It's frustrating to say the least, but, if we get 3 points tonight, it might go someway to proving Billy as a genuine top bloke.

Exactly what I thought. It seems that he is trying to create some kind of siege mentality within the club in the hope that it will galvanise the younger players. It had better work or we are going back to that awful, shit stain of a league.

I have no doubt that if Earnie and Anderson were fit we would be ok but as neither of them will be for the next few games, I am assuming that we will start March in the bottom 3 and anything else would be a bonus.

I think people are reading too much into his comments. He's saying we've got a small squad and a number of key injuries.

That's the truth.

That's the truth.

He's also had time to address this problem.

He has stated that we have a small squad before/after every game since his arrival.

In that time there has been a full transfer window and the loan window has opened.

We're in a position to moan about a small squad, he's in a position to realise there is a small squad and do something about it.

The football league should introduce a transfer window in January. That would have helped.

They already did that, unfortunately the email from the FA letting us know was picked up as spam, and consequently noone from the club knew about it. :(

I fail to believe that there is such incompetence at the top end of the club's hierarchy.
