We've heard tell that Billy is on his jollies, and everything is seemingly quiet, but, if Billy's available to talk to Craig Short at Notts about selling players, I'm sure he's available to talk to other players about bringing them to the mighty City Ground?

Short met him at Meadow Lane on Wednesday and said: "He will give Thommo (John Thompson) competition for the right-back position.
"He did well here last season until Christmas and I've spoken to Billy (Davies) about him coming here for the season and he's fine with it."

Just to play devil's advocate, he could have told him that at any point this season, and more likely before he went away.

Billy also doesn't do the negotiating with players and other teams when bringing people into the club, so it wouldn't really matter if he's there or not.

How could Davies have told Short that he could have Moloney any time of the season when Short's only been manager a week/two weeks?

I don't want this too happen, let him stay and fight for his place, he's good enough.

it makes me laugh when people say he is on hols that be true
but in this day and age I am sure billy puts aside say 1 hour every day to catch up on emails etc and would take the odd important call if needed to make sure his plans are put into place,I guess all or most managers are like this , To go on hols for 2/3 weeks and have no contact with the club I am sure ND would be looking for someone else, Like I say the odd 30 mins in the morning and same again in the evening while mrs Billy gets ready would be the least i would expect.
