Strong rumours down here that Billy Davies may be taking up the recently vacant Wales job.

What are your opinions on this forest fans? I know Billy is none too happy with your chairman's backing (in the transfer market) could this be a factor for his departure?

I also hear that if BD does take up the Wales job, Toshack could be going the other way and managing the reds :eek:

Billy is a top manager mind, toshack is well, shite

I hope Billy goes if im honest....im sick of his constant griping. Id be happy to have him as the wales manager though as i think he'd do a good job for us! (im half wlesh and always follow them).......but as for toshack coming here to manage the reds i really hope thats not true..

Personally can't see it. One issue *apparently* with Billy is the fact that his family are up in Scotland, so I guess managing an international team may suit in terms of potential time off, but he strikes me as a guy who needs the day to day time with the players. You can just imagine him at the first meet up though (to Gareth Bale) "It was Billy Davies' interest in you that kick started your career son, and it's Billy Davies that will get the best out of you for Wales" :D
 
i've heard that Billy is going for this job and wants Earnie to go with him as his assistant!
