BIG selection problems!!!

So.. 7 loanees, 3 new first team injuries. Perch out for season, McGugan looking like a recurrence of his thigh injury: therefore out for rest of season, Tyson not looking too good either.

Ideally (IMO) we'd swap McSheff for Tyson, Osbourne for Perch, and ?Moussi/Thornhill for McGugan (but ?Moussi injured)

Turner (L)
Chambers - Morgan - Wilson - Lynch (L)
Cohen - Moussi/Thornhill - Osbourne (L) - McSheffrey (L)
Blackstock (L) - Earnshaw

Didn't include Gunter as I dont think he adds ANYTHING to the team. Moans all the time, not strong enough, not good enough going forward.

Btw, anyone know the latest on Super Arron Davies? Last I heard he made 2 reserves apps? Will that be the last we hear?

Surely Anderson should be in ahead of McSheffrey, who has done nothing since joining us on loan. And it sounded like Gunter had a good game today.

is mcsheffrey staying or going back to brum?

Listening to Billy today it sounded like Mcsheffrey will be going back on Monday, he also said that Mcgugan and Tyson are not seriously injured and both should be ok for next week.

I am a big fan of Nathan Tyson, and love to see him skinning defenders with his pace.

I thought he was lacking something today, didn't seem to be able to get decent balls in. Plus he blasted a shot straight at their keeper in the second half.

So, McSheffrey or Anderson into midfield would be welcomed.

I'd like to see McCleary play more too. He beat defenders time and time again today, and put a great ball in, ON THE DECK, across the face of the goal.

Shame nobody had kept up with him to bury it, but that was a truly match-winning move he created.

I think Davies is 'developing' McLeary. He's played him ahead of others after some ropey performances, and the lad does look like your typical well-loved Forest hero in those occasional flashes of the finished article. He should feature quite striongly during the run-in, if he stays fit. Forst proper season of footy, mind.

i heard but I don't know how true it is that Gunter is perhaps going back to Spurs...the quote I heard was that

"He's not learning anything here and would be better off in the Spurs reserves team"

but this is second hand info so I don't know how reliable...

You'd think he's learn a shit load being in the thick of a relegation battle, our defenders are surely not having it easy atm!?

Easy to say that with hindsight!!! At the game they both looked pretty serious, but now maybe not so much.. only time will tell I suppose!

Yeah, OS says today that McGugan will be fine barring any unforeseen circumstances and Davies is confident of Perch and McGugan being fit.
