What do people think so far?

well seeing as he is the only left back we've got we aint got much ch!oice

Like what i have seen so far, there is always that thought that he is young so there for he might make a silly mistake at times but i can only see him becoming better as more games he plays.

Good singing.

He was at fault for the goal Burnley scored and could easily have cost us one yesterday. Great going forward, lightening pace but niave positionally.

Nowhere bear the same class as Shorey :( That lad just knew where to be and when.

Harsh to blame him for the Burnley goal, he'd gone to close down his man, someone else should've tracked the overlap.

I thought he looked good again yesterday, apart from the lazy pass that nearly put Leeds in. Looked composed and dangerous down the left.

As an aside that isn't too off topic, if anyone knows how Bennet's actually gerrin' on on loan, I'd be interested to know.

Looked good yesterday. Good technique, strong defensively and gets forward with pace. If the rest of our team had bothered to pass to him when he found himself in acres of space in the first half we may have won the game.
I think he will be better than Shorey.

Well , getting mixed review from the palace fans - played the first game and the midweek cup game. Was on the bench yesterday , hopefully to just give him a rest after so long out.

Dont think he looked that strong yesterday. I'm basing that on the fact that we are supposed to be a team pushing for promotion of course and not many of our players were worthy of a place in such team yesterday

He's obviously better than nothing. He's young and looks more likely to excel in the attacking areas of the field, but it's far too early to cast judgement on a very young player who has only just come into a team that is not exactly ticking yet. He showed glimpses yesterday of being a good footballer, hopefully he will get better and better as time goes on. He also doesn't look good enough for Chelsea which may be a good thing if we're looking to acquire a permanent left-back.

When John Terry came on loan i don't remember it myself but I've read on here that he played very well but was the thought also he was good enough to go straight into Chelsea's first team ?

Spot on. I've heard others blame him but they don't understand that he did go to close his man down. I much more concerned about Wes. It was his hesitation that allowed Iwelumo to beat him to the cross and yesterday the same thing happened with Sam. Wes gave the ball away to start the move as well.

Hes been excellent so far. Its between him and gunter really as our best players so far, as both have been awesome.

Just a shame the rest of the defence and the team for that matter, havent felt the need to do the same.

Solid at LB and always posed a threat down the left, reminded me of a young Rogers.
