Best Player

i was thinking about this earlier and thought why not bring it up.

in your opinion who do you think is the best player in team and why?

IMO i think it has to be Mckenna just for the simple fact that he brings that determination, leadership and grit in midfield that we has so clearly lacked in recent years.

This is a very, very complex question.

So many players bring so many different elements to the game.

Like Morgan keeps things together at the back, Dexter gets goals consistently, Raddy can change matches with a killer pass, Camp/Smith can have a blinder, McCleary can come on and change a game, ETC

I would say either McKenna or Morgan.

But also I just wanted to mention Tyson as his attitude and overall play has improved so much this season.

got a sore arse?

Majewski is the only one who could possibly cut it at a higher level, so i'd have to say him. Mckenna is our most crucial player.

most important player is mckenna
most talented player is raddy
player with most potential is gunter

its hard to single one out but McKenna has made a difference , Camp deserves the keepers spot Moussi might be the one who makes the difference later in the season when teams try to bully us in midfield

As much as we all love to hate Commons, Raddy is a great and better replacement, and as such i think he could possibly be one of our best players this season, However we now seem to have a fair few good players in the squad and as such i think it will be hard to single out one specific player.

Yep very hard to single one out! I would say if you took Wes and McKenna out of the team we would definately struggle. Wes for his strength in the air and McKenna for his organisational skills esp when things aren't going our way, dare say we would have lost games like yesterday without McKenna, Wes or Camp

Big Wes.

His determination to win and to shut out the opposition represents everything about where we want to be. Billy Davies also said last season that we could do with 11 Wes Morgan's in the side....

Love the bloke. 8)

Dexter, Without him i really cant see where goals are going to come from. Garner would score if hes allowed to play up front instead of in midfield which is actually pathetic :)

:D :D Facking hell this isn't mastermind........

Majewski a player that is a different class to what we have....
:leacock:

1. Wes - never has a bad game, very rarely does anybody get around him
2. Gunter - potential to be the best, already outstanding
3. Cohen - very very rarely has a bad game

McKenna...................does the simple things...... breaks up play, plays, passes, moves into space......breath of fresh air!

I agree about McGugan. He has tremendous ability, and unlike Majewski has the physical presence necessary in the modern game. He could be a tremendous footballer in a few years time.

McKenna has changed the whole thing. Players have more confidence, the team spirit is better, the defence is more confident and more durable. Midfield has a better balance and attack has a foundation to play from. We are a much better team with him in it, he has a way to go but he is in the John McGovern mould for me.

Without McKenna, we'd be exactly where we were this time last season.

The amount of work he does in a match is mind-blowing. He wins more headers at 5'7" than Wes does at 6'3".

He was our most important signing of the summer and £750k was a steal.

Skill and flair wise, it's obviously Raddy and Dexter Blackstock's goals will be key.

As others have said, it's not a simple question to answer, but I guess if I had to pick one, it'd be Paul McKenna.
