Had this discussion earlier about a team of the best loan XI in recent years, we came up with:

Beasant

Louis-Jean Terry Gough Shorey

Olsen Osbourne Majewski Porfirio

Blackstock Wright

Subs: Camp, Upson, Benali, Anderson, McPhail, Barmby, Huckerby.

Pretty good team! I'd forgotten that Upson had a brief stint here as a loan player in the dark days of Platt.

Without wishing to start a new debate, Rogers on loan in 2003/2004 played a big part in our revival that season and was no worse than Wright in his loan spell.

He did indeed :) One cock up against Spurs (I think) was the only blemish on an otherwise solid loan stint.

I'd change Gough for Upson, & Barmby for Robbie Blake. Osbourne shouldn't be in the XI - He did nothing whilst he was here.
