I'm new on LTLF just wonted to say hello :) Erma thought i would make a new topic about what your best and worst away game of the season is that you have been?(There has been some badones! :p)
Personally i think that the best away game Ive been to is either Derby the league game or Southamt on. And the worst has got to be Burble but the most boring has got to be Doncaster.

Discuss.

Worst away game ive been to was Plymouth away.

The best ive been to was... Plymouth away :sob:

Just the one away game for me this season, very poor effort by my standards, but been to a couple of home games which are far enough away anyway :D

Best 3-0 win at Man City

Worst 0-0 Doncaster Rovers.

I've seen us lose a few times away, but that 0-0 really was a shower of shite

It's Baggio

Best - Man City obviously. Southampton and Norwich were good also.

Worst - Where do I start? Wolves, Burnley, Watford, Plymouth and Birmingham were all varying degrees of shit.

Best away game was for obvious reasons Man City. Fantastic ground, awesome side and the fact we beat the richest club in the world 3-0 topped it all off.

In terms of league I would say either Palace simply because it was our first away win of the season or Reading. But Southampton was a good one too.

Worst I would say Burnley again for obvious reasons or Plymouth because that journey took the pi** and to go that far to watch such a dire performance was horrible.

No wonder my post count..

Same for me with Burnley.

So far both games I've been to this season have been the 2 games we've been trounced (Derby and Burnley).

Best -
Man City

This has got to be there, giving one of the best teams in england a decent game would be one thing, taking the piss out of them in there own back yard is totally different, 3-0 and we took the piss ;D

Reading

Going to the best team in the league on the back of a poor run of form everyone was expecting to get thrashed. First half all reading and how they didnt manage to score no one knows. Second half more even and lewis managed to snatch it with one of the goals of the season ;D

Crystal Palace

We started league 1 terrible and going to inform palace who'd just beaten us at the city ground was a game you would of took a draw from before the start, but when breckin took the lead it was more shock then anything, and to come so close to a 1-0 victory it was heart breaking when kuqi equalised. Our first few months in the championship were getting predictable. Lost points when we should of won and it then looked like palace were gonna go on and snatch the win. So the feeling when thornhill forced the ball over the line in the last min to give us a 2-1 victory was ecxtasy, and it gave everyone hope that we might stay up.

Worst -

Wolves

After a good start to the season having drawn with reading and having beaten one of last years play off teams in watford we went to wolves knowing if we get a point there we could actually hold our own in this league and maybe even challenge for the playoffs. 90 mins later all hope had been crushed having been outclassed by wolves and we were in a relegation fight.

Burnley

To lose 5-0 to man united would be a bad result, but to lose 5-0 to a burnley side not playing that well is digraceful. We also completly f**ked up our decent goal difference too :(

Best away: Man City / Derby in the cup. Both great atmospheres.

Worst away: Birmingham / Doncaster. Both shite games with shite atmospheres.

The best was Norwich because we won and Liz and Dan and Andy and Martin and that lot came and we went for a meal afterwards.

The worst was Norwich as well, as that was the only one I've been to. I was drunk and sat in the home end with some guy I have never met before. He asked me if we were going to play Junior Agogo.

I haven't been to a bad away game this season, so on that basis the best can be chosen from:

Palace, Southampton, Coventry.

They have all been shit unfortunately. The worst one was probably Birmingham but then I did not go to Wolves.

I have never seen Forest win an away league match in over 30 attempts. Its some record!

Worst: Burnley (Plymouth a close 2nd on that one)

Best: Charlton, Norwich or Palace (all great days out,, difficult to pick a winner!)
