He had an outstanding 6 months out of 3 years at Blackburn. I think it's a gamble for any premier league team to go for him. He only got 2 goals from January to the end of the season last year (he did have an injury for a month though).

Didn’t we get £8m for him back then? Plus a sell on. So could be around £10m in. Bear in mind inflation in transfer fees etc and the money and time blackburn have invested in him. I still think we did well. I wouldn’t want him for £10-15m
