Before I ring the ticket office...

...later on today, I was wondering if anyone had had a similair problem and what they are likely to say. Basically broke my ankle last week, have a season ticket in the upper trent and access is going to be a bitch. Dont want to miss the game so I want to move my ticket to somewhere with better access. This would be no problem of course providing I hadn't already used up all the free move vouchers at the back of my ticket. Is it likely I will be able to do this?

I did email them last Friday but have just seen that a reply could take up to 10 days. If they are just going to say no then there is no point even ringing and I'm thinking that this could be the case seeing as all the free seat move vouchers have been used.

Thanks in advance for any (sensible) replies

I have never known Forest actually keep a 'log' of season ticket moves - my bro moves his quite often to sit with his missus, and I'm sure he's done it more often than he's supposedly allowed (although we cunningly alternate our season tickets a bit to allow for this).

I would hope that if you explain your situation the club should be happy to try to accomodate you, though.

Not in the Upper Trent - unless he's a welly wanging champion he's unlikely to hit an away fan with one :)

I've seen plenty of folks with crutches in the ground. When I'd done my ankle I refused to take mine in (which were too short for me anyway) so just hobbled about a lot.

Ive thought about this. It's not really the going up the stairs im bothered about really as if I got there reasonably early there would be no one about so I could just take my time. It's more the exting of the ground. Literally after I posted this they replied to me by email anyway (sods law) should be ok just need to give them a ring or pop in and sort it out.

It would be pretty shameful on Forest if they didn't let you swap your ticket for one in the Lower Trent End, especially as they are the same price.

Can't see why they would say no.

I had knee replacement operations in 2008 and 2009 and they swapped my tickets without a problem

Same here. I had knee operations in 2007 and they were great.

But sometimes you have to be smart. You just either have to arrive early or late ( basically not in the main rush) and either leave early or after the main rush.

For me the club did what they could but I nearly fell down the stairs in a leg brace and with cruthches because the fans can be arses and impatient.
