We played well today matched West Brom for long periods but couldn't finish our chances. But we have lost one drawn one againest 2 of the the favourites to go up this season and palyed well in both off them.But i can't believe how many fickle fans were on the terraces saying "Adebola is shit" "The Polish lad is w**k" "New season same old Forest" i think it's pathetic that people are getting on the back's of players already.

Just lay of them and enjoy this project in motion as it will take them tiem to gel as a team.

Apart from the miss I thought he was really good today. So did most the people around me. Im not sure what people are expecting of him. He ran the ball down, ran with the ball, won the ball when he didnt have the right and was a general annoyance to them.

To be fair there is a lot of knuckle draggers in A block, not all but a good majority. I had a 7 year old sat in front of me today who had a lot more sensible things to say then most of them put together.

As soon as he got sat in his seat (just after kick off) he had already decided the game was going to be boring and end 0-0, then was slagging every Forest player off except Lee Camp!

From some one who was actually at the game Forest can consider them selves un lucky today I thought in the first half we matched them all the way but, in the second we dominated for long periods and created a host of chances Earnie should of scored his penalty instead of farting around like an idiot which for me was the only really bad point of the game.

The defense was solid with camp not having much to do the midfield bossed and pushed it around well and I thought Tyson had a good game down the left Adebola was probably slightly off today with his touch but over all a good strong solid performance.

This results as it stand is a bad start but, I am feeling very optimistic about this season’s chances Forest will be ok.

Adebola is fine - he's a brave, strong handful. WBA had to cheat regularly to stop him. Olsen is a big (cheating) player - Dele will not meet the likes of him every week, so give him a chance.

I got a real sense of De ja vu today looking back to pre christmas last season. Dominating play, looking good going foward creating great chances. BUT FAILING TO FINISH!!! I think a more stable defence would improve matters attacking wise. People either commit and it is easy for us to be hit on the counter attack or they have to sit back and we lack numbers going foward meaning people like Adebola are left isolate upfront. As said West Brom are a very very good side who I think will win the league this year. But the unlucky card was used too often last year and is did today defensive lapse and commiting men foward cost us and it worries me we NEED a defender at least before the end of august.

Anyone who speaks negative of Adebola today just simply hasn't got a clue about football! Everytime he goes near the ball things happen. Yes he had two good chances but that's how it goes sometimes. I'm certainly not concerned in the slightest on the back of two games! Forest made WBA look very ordinary and should have won the game by at least two clear goals - that's just how it goes sometimes. Equally before any other tw@t begins to call Joel Lynch he was another that had a good steady game today! This lad has got a lot of potential and showed he has the ability to adapt as do several others. Well done lads and bad luck today!

I sat/stood in A Block today and other than a single chant for Billy to 'sort it out' which didn't last long, I can honestly say that the support can not be criticised. Even the stewards had a comedy moment or two.

We showed real promise for the kind of game we will be playing once we're back up to firing on all cylinders and our squad have had a little more experience of playing together as a team.

Our main failing today was our targetting and the exploitation of opportunity in front of goal. As far as our overall and general performance was concerned, I believe we showed great awareness front, middle and back and I am pleased with the fight we gave up to the dying minutes.

Disappointed with the result but not disheartened.

I thought we played well today, Adebola was very strong, and although he let chances slip, he made the WBA defence look silly at times. Earnie may have missed a penno that would have gained us a point; but not 1 of our current strike force would have bought that decision like he did, slipped it between 2 defenders and earned it, his footballing brain is well above average.

I was broadly pleased with the performance.

I thought Cohen had a poor game, but he's both out of position and not fully fit. The only real major criticisms would really be the sitter-missing (I don't think Adebola's first half chance was a sitter, the second half one looked like one), I need to see it again, but I wasn't sure why Camp wasn't claiming the cross that lead to the own goal, and finally whilst he may have been rattled by the ******* Carson, there's really not much excuse for missing the target from the penalty spot.

AEqually before any other tw@t begins to call Joel Lynch he was another that had a good steady game today! This lad has got a lot of potential and showed he has the ability to adapt as do several others.

His favoured position is actually centre back. Like Gunter can play both right and left back. The defenders we have are actually quite versitile, it's just we dont have enough of them.

If we play half as well as that against most teams we will come away with something. Remember WBA are a team that 2 seasons ago won this division with the same players. There are bound to be games where we dont get what we deserve but its how the players react now on Tuesday, because coming off the pitch today alot of the lads looked gutted, esp Tyson, who i think in the first half didn't see enough of the ball, when he did on the 3 or 4 occasions he danced round their full backs. In the second half he saw alot more and again did well. He is starting to adapt now to this left wing position and it could be a very good descision by BD to use him here.

I just think we are handicapping ourselves by playing the weaker player.

Tyson spent much of his time with Calderwood playing out on the left wing.

The trouble was, he was the recognised dtriker on the park at that time.

Now, things are different with more attackers than you can shake a stick at wearing the Garibaldi.

He's doing a fantastic job out left, and I'd say leave him there. At the end of the day, he'll be a winger AND a bonus striker if the need arises.
