Beckham

I was just about to ask that Goatboy. Ignoring the fact that it is a bollocks rumour and if it was true and how do people think it would affect the team? Not just the squad but Nottingham Forest as they would definitely be in the spotlight. Would that work in our favour or be detrimental?
 
Though I would love for this to be true, Im going to have to call BS on this one :/
 
It'd bring money in, no doubt. Local kids'd be queueing up to buy Forest shirts with his name on the back.

D*rby would f***ing HATE IT.

He'd put some great crosses in, and we'd score some goals from them.

The other players would probably be pissed off by his big time Charlie antics and huge pay packet.

It sounds incredibly unlikely, but then again, so did him joining LA Galaxy after Real Madrid.

Mind you, LAG could offer him ridiculous amounts of cash, we can't. So not getting excited just yet!

This is gaining momentum !! I mentioned there was a possibility about him being Player-Manager, but that never materialised....I've mentioned it on twitter too...this is going to happen ! My £20 is down at the bookies, David Beckham will be signing for Forest !

I suggested this on another thread as a tongue in cheek reference to buying old has beens on huge wages.

Surely it cannot be serious.

Then again, think of the marketing opportunities especially in other parts of the world.
 
Normally you would laugh this one off... and there is no reason to think of this otherwise

I doubt he needs the money, and why would he end a glittering career getting hoofed round the championship?
