Pleat has already met several times with Beckham's representatives and an opportunity has arisen for the two to meet in adavance of England's game on Weds.lollol

I think it could be true guys. According to a reliable source David Beckham is only asking for £1,000 a week as he is secretly a committed Nottingham Forest fan and wants to "stick it to the shaggers."

If you're wondering who the latter quote is attributed to, it came directly from the mouth of Beckham upon meeting him in Wetherspoons last week. It was curry night. He said he didn't fancy anything spicy though. Pussy.

I'm disgusted that the club haven't keep us informed about the talks with Beckham.

It is typical of the clubs attitude to supporters that we have to find this out by rumours and hearsay.

This sort of signing could really boost season ticket sales. Why hold it back, even if Billy is on holiday?

I would however, like to be among the first to congratulate the AP on this deal but, it would just be nice for once, for the club to be up front.
 
heard he is signing a 2 year deal as head steward of A block MA and ND where very impressed with the way he dealt with the security of the england squad at the weekend escorting the unwanted fan out of the ground that they quickly saw a new role for the player and quickly snapped him up.

beckham is said to be looking forward to his new role and has warned unruly he will not take any nonsense off them and will quickly try and establish himself amongst forests team of stewards. he is said to be training hard for his new role and is hoping to be included in forests 2018 world cup bid and could possibly feature in the group stages in some capacity.
 
saw this on football transfers myself about 30mins ago, not stopped laughing since!!!! if it was tru and he signed for us, i will run down clumber st stark naked in the middle of the xmas rush in december!!!!

Well, there's worse players to be associated with, even when it's in a daft rumour. I don't imagine there's any harm in sounding him out, either. Doesn't cost anything, little chance of failure, Premiership in a season if all goes well?

Most of all Beckham likes his football, yes he can go back in on Prem wages he doesn't need and play for most teams in the top flight, but there are younger and better players about, in from abroad if not indigenous, and he'd start as many games as he was able at a larger Championship club. Anyone in his position who thinks they are really going to miss football when they're too old to play, doesn't want to play in a shit league and doesn't really need to earn, more to play and win something in that time - you could do worse.

Shame it's a bollocks rumour, really. Beckham coming in with a desire to win us the title probably wouldn't hurt our chance oner little bit.
