...What do you think?

I would personally say that mine was ??? ??? Leeds away last season!

A Tuesday night and had a wicked time.

Had never been there before up until then but was probably in my top 5 away games i have ever been to!

The best song on that night was to a Leeds fan sat with his mate in a pint top who has the piss taken out of him by us with the chant of "Who's the gay boy in the pink, Who's the gay boy in the pink"! Absolutely wicked!

The banter with there supporters was also good!

What about you? Did anyone else go to this Leeds game themselves?

Quite a few spring to mind, mostly because of the day out more than the result.

Oldham away - 1 o'clock kick off on a cold and wet new years day, losing 5-0 in a promotion six pointer! But the fans never gave up, never stopped singin, even had the shirts off doing the congo. Made me proud to be a Forest fan. The players came over at the end to applaud the travelling support, and all 1,500 stayed right untill the end to applaud the team (strangely).

Bristol away - This was another promotion six pointer, I think they were 2nd and we were 3rd. We took about 4,000 down, and the away end was full bout an hour before kick off. Then in the second minute Grant Holt put us 1-0 up, an the fans just went into madness, spilling over seats, falling over, drinks everywhere. The celebrations seemed to last for ages, I was nackered by the time we'd calmed down. The support was emence. People were standing on seats, on the row I was standing on there was a row of people standing on the seats and then a row standing infront. Just a shame they equalised, but overall it was a cracking day.

There are quite a few. Hartlepool towards the end of last season was a decent atmosphere as it was probably the turning point for the promotion.

Leeds was good, the game wasn't but the atmosphere and the chance to go to a big, proper Football stadium after 3 years of shit was awesome.

The Brizzle City one mentioned was great fun as well.

A couple more that spring to mind:

Leyton Ornament last season, we'd not won away in aaaaaaaages and we went down there, big following, sunny day in the capital and won the most convincing 1-0 ever.

Crewe, in CC's 1st season. 4-1 up at HT, Tyson scoring a hat-trick and looking unstoppable.

Brentford, as we were trying to catch Bristol City towards the end of 06/07. 2-0 down at HT and a real unpleasant atmosphere amongst the support. We came out in the 2nd half and scored 4, playing some brilliant stuff. David Prutton actually looked like the old 'Prutts' in that game as well.

One we didn't win, away at Bradford on the final day under Charlie and Frank. We needed to win and hope that other results went our way, we drew 1-1 and Ricketts (the Bradford GK) turned inro Lev Yashin in the 2nd half. Great day out though, with about 6000 reds crammed in.

That was an awful game though!

I think the fans were forgiving because Sammy Clingan was sent off for absolutely nothing early doors and we kinda accepted that with ten men we were unlikely to come away with much.

It was pissing it down on the way out as well if memory serves. The fans did make the day bearable, I wouldn't rank it amongst my favourite ever Forest experiences though!

My favourite was the epic trip to Carlisle since it was such a bloody hassle with the rearrangements, my brother was coming to the first game, Rich Crouch was coming to the second - which was cut short at Trowell Services for a Burger King, eventually Forest Jonny accompanied Stratty and I for the 2-0 triumph which set Carlisle on the wobble out of the automatic promotion picture :D

Bradford in the last game under Charlie and Frank. Seemed like the whole motorway and the whole town were full of reds, and at the end of the game (having failed to make the playoffs) we had two sides of the ground standing singing at full volume for absolutely ages. One of my favourite Forest moments ever.

The Northampton 2-1, saving Colin's job and ending their long endless run despite going down to 10 men on a Friday evening with the snow coming down...

Then Agogo went on and strutted around for 10 minutes.

I'd go with Jack. Tranmere away has always been one of my favourite fixtures!

I did fall asleep there once following a very heavy evening!

No wonder my post count..
This thread makes me smile - just reminds me that even if we go down, I still have good times ahead.

I really enjoyed the Oldham game on New Year's Day, too.

I think I was still pissed from the night before, cause me and a mate met at the train station at 7am, got the train to Leeds and then from Leeds to Manchester and Manchester to Oldham.

It was a right old journey, but loved every minute of it, even filming a video diary on the way, which at one point included my mate jumping off the train, posing in front of a sign in the middle of Lancashire and literally just getting back on before the doors closed!

Aside from that, I loved it at Brighton last season when we won 2-0.

Living down here meant that I had bragging rights for quite some time, and even though it was bloody freezing, we really deserved to win.

Bizarrely, Sammy Clingan also got sent off there!

I'd have to say the Leeds game, simply because I live in Leeds now and it was good banter! My girlfriends Dad called us the Harlem Globetrotters that night, reckons all we did was handle the ball! He couldn't complain anyhow, what with Beckford falling over from a gush of wind! Also remember us reds going mental when Bennett smashed in that header!

Also agree with the Bradford game on the last day of the season. Me and a few mates had parked up and ended up in a pub with a shed load of reds. They were spilling out of the pub, so we went to get some pint cans of stella and stood out there!

Leyton Orient two seasons ago was a giggle, getting into Kings Cross at 8:30am and havinga Kurdish berakfast which was truly disgusting even after a few cans of stella to getting my hair cut by some proper fit Polish bird in Leyton whilst half cut, then going to the pub and telluing the landlord it might be a good idea to take the Derby flag off of teh roof before it comes down anyway, he disagreed......

......five minutes later one of the coaches turns up and bye bye Derby County!

Landlord looked like a poor mans Lionel Richie as well!

That was a really good atmosphere.

Forest Johnny made us pretty late, and we had to run to the ground and just got there after kick off.

We didn't make it home until stupid o'clock because Johnny's engine dropped out of his car on the motorway.

You can relive this story by watching Goldenballs, where Johnny retells it to garner enough sympathy to steal £10k from an old man.
