Looks good. I've allways guite rated Maniche as a presenter. Nic to see our game against Cardiff on BBC 1 too !

Good scheduling as well - should get a lot of people hanging around after the Premiership and maybe learning that there is more to life than the Big Four.

No wonder my post count..
Excellent. Looking forward to this.

Looking forward to it...though they've hardly got a tough act to follow. They could just fill the program with footage of a fat man sitting on a toilet shitting out last nights curry bender and it'd still be a superior football show to anything that ITV could manage.

Newcastle fans don't really need to buy a season ticket do they? They're on telly virtually every week!

Unfortunately...

...in the same way as that bastardised version of Zadock The Priest is required to be played before all Champions' (sic) League stuff - TV or at the ground...so U2's "Beautiful Day" is a contractual requirement of the Coca-Cola Championship. Bollocks knows why, it just is...

Expect nothing less next season... :(

Sweet.

I just hope they distribute the highlights better. Half a show of one pre-determined game followed by some of goals from the rest of the leagues sucked ass.

4 or 5 games getting between 6 and 12 minutes a piece followed by goals from elsewhere works much better.

All to often ITV pre-picked a game that ended up being a turd 0-0 draw missing 4-3 thrillers elsewhere, where they quite often didn't even have time to show all the goals.

Whats also good is it seems to be suggested that highlights of all games will be avalible on the BBC Sport website, meaning even if our game is a goals only affair on any given week, we should be able to see more of it online (there SPL highlights have always been pretty good... well coverage wise anyway, the actual football is largely turd but that's neither here nor there)

Agreed. If they apply the MOTD format to this highlights show, then it'll be ace. 8)

So, when Bolton fans see their team beaten 5-1 by Burnley, and are close to tears, the following programme will show them what they can expect next year and finally tip them over the edge?

Excellent.
