I've just watched the BBC Highlights of the game vs United. I may be mistaken but I'm sure at the end of the reel when Earnshaw flicks the ball on the commentator states Blackstock the 11 goal striker. The image is fuzzy but I'd be pretty sure that is Nathan Tyson especially as he goes at it with his left foot.

Anyone want to confirm I'm correct? If so I will drop a line to the BBC explaining their incompentence.

Yeah it was definitely Tyson. But to be fair, Dexter is also left footed.;)

BBC License fee of £150+ per year that I pay (prehaps you don't). Plus anyone that does half a job and looked at the team sheet would know that Blackstock was 23 not 11.

i did notice myself but to be honest i can't really get worked up over a trivial mistake , they do it from time to time ,does it really matter?

Yes, we are the greatest football club in thw world and deserve more respect. The commentator should be hung on slab sqaure wearing a derby shirt

You could also keep yourself busy by emailing all those that still call us Notts Forest on the telly.

The BBC make a stupid amount of mistakes about names/players/positons, etc. from teams who aren't in the Prem. It's not the first.
