BBC COVERAGE

Quite poor to be honest, no second half analysis at the end of the game and no mention who got The Man Of The Match, i would have gave it either to COHEN or Mckenna!

Coverage as bad as the coverage of the football league has been in general. They've got a live terrestrial game, yet they still don't bother sparing a Lawro or a motty or even Darren Fletcher who is actually fit to pass judgement on what's going off on the pitch.

Awful, would rather have listened to the radio.

Thank God for that. Lawro is a tool!!

The coverage was fine, it's never going to be Sky Sports quality but it was in HD and looked sexy.

However, I do wish they'd use pundits with a bit more lower league knowledge, at least Claridge may have seen a few of our games but I expect the last time Keown or Dixon saw us was the FA Cup Final 1991.

I went for the ideal compromise; BBC HD pictures, volume turned down and BBC Radio Nottingham commentary.

f***ing hell, if you're hankering after Mark f***ing Lawrensen then it must have been bad. The fat-tongued f***-witted Scouse-sympathising twatbag.

Wish I'd thought of putting the radio on, but radio commentary doesn't really work when you can see the game for me.

I'm convinced at one point early in the match I heard some BBC knob say Davies joined Forest in the summer.

Hah didn't think of doing that.

I think for me then, although I noticed the minor name cock-ups, and a camera glitch, I was just wrapped in in the game enough to not be to fussed. Was really bad they didnt say a MOTM or have a second half analysis (thts the problem when u broadcast agame on such a busy channel at such a pivitol time of the week.)

Though I am just really grateful they took it on! Was good watching my team on tele whilst having a relaxing sunday evening.

i'm sure i heard the commentator mention the 6-1 direby demolition with "chopra getting all 4 of them " ???

Yep, I heard that too.

No Chopra got four of them. I heard him correctly.

(NOTE they even showed all four).

haha - of his goals against them.

No wonder my post count..
I'd still pick them over ITV any day.

However, giving Martin Keown a commentary position is like giving Gary Glitter a months pass to Disneyland - it's just not ethical.

Oh yeah, did anyone see the half time Championship footage?

If I'm not mistaken, I'm sure someone branded the Blackpool - Donny game as a '6 goal thriller'

....wait actually.

They've just got the result down as 1-1, but still have all the scorers listed.

Badly done BBC, Badly done.

clearly not everyone's cup of tea :D

I'm completely indifferent towards him, all I meant was it would be nice if the BBC actually paid a bit more respect to the football league. They must have paid millions to get it after all, and they're showing it live on BBC2 yet it's completely let down by the dire commentary. The same goes for the football league show. It's more like a kids show.

It was pretty poor to start with but eventually they recognised we played on the floor mostly. Though they thought Majewski and Moussi were the best players for some reason.

lawrenson is a tit. don't you remember his god-awful analysis for the chelsea fa cup tie 3 years ago? loads of snide comments about forest.

thought it was ok. their analysis of the match was all wrong though - cardiff are anything but free flowing football!!

There was no time. It was scheduled to finish at 7 and because of the added on time at the end of each half, the game finished about a minute before 7!

In fairness it wasnt too bad, its just nice to see Championship matches getting coverage on national tv, and for it to be a pretty good game to represent the league

A day in the life of a Forest fan.

The team have put in an awesome performance live on tv coming back from a goal down against arguably the best team in the league.
Forest fan upset as he cannot have the usual moan, therefore directs a tirade towards the coverage..

I do wonder sometimes if we can enjoy a decent result

Hit the nail on the head there mate!

That ridiculous comment about us being a power side annoyed the f*** out of me, neither of those pricks had seen us play all season but they looked at the league table and assumed we would be second best to Cardiff. Well, that was their first XI and we had 2-3 of our best players missing and you know what, we gave a bloody good account of ourselves.

The stadium is another IKEA special and it was about 7,000 under capacity. There was not atmosphere at all, especially considering the fuss the commentators made about it.
