Ryan Bertrand will miss Nottingham Forest's home date with Ipswich Town on Saturday through suspension.

The left back, who is on loan with The Reds from Chelsea, collected his fifth booking of the season in last night's win over Middlesbrough, earning him a one-match ban.

It means that Bertrand's ever-present run in Billy Davies' line-up in the npower Championship this season will come to an end at the weekend.

Bertrand's latest booking was controversial with referee Stephen Tanner showing him a yellow card for in my opinion wasting time at a throw-in while Forest were trying to make a substitution.

This is where the lack of summer signings hits home, one defender suspended and we have no replacement...

Who was the youth who played left back for the reserves and made a couple of first team appearances? Flinch or Glinch someone.

Although Brendan Moloney is naturally a right sided defender, he would be the perfect choice as he occasionally was utilised as a left back in the Reserves and U-17 and U-19 sides. While not his favoured position his ability to run the line, and create dangerous crosses into the box would be invaluable. Furthermore when he did play in the first team his last minute tackles helped solidify a defence explioted by pace. Unfortunately Billy Davies prefers experience so Chambers will be moved to left-back and Wilson will return back to the centre of the defence.

Is tyson not fit for saturday? If he is, I can see cohen going to lb, with tyson slotting in on the right.

Or cohen going to lb anyway, with ando switching to the left wing and moussi sadly coming back in on the right.

Wilson could do a job there - he has lots of pace and would help out when the ball is swung high into our box.
The referee was a joke last night. Although it saved us a few late bookings, he was far too lenient. There were several instances where 'boro players should have been booked and weren't. As for the Bertrand booking................. bloody hell.
BTW, the jerk who reffed at Barnsley was appalling - when are we going to get refs who are consistently watching (and understanding) the game?
