Davis blames bad luck for last nights result!!.... We had bad luck all last season too... Now all this season... Hmmm I am noticing a pattern... Dont you start to make your own luck especially 18months later!!???

If we had had bad luck at the end of last season we would have been relegated :nowink:
Keep the faith the results will come.

If we were more clincal then we will win games. I don't think too many people can dispute that.

We need someone to take penalties. I personally think Earnie should've took the penalty last night. Even though he missed that one against West Brom make him do it again he would've been extra cautious about hitting the target and we all know he can do it.

We need to keep clean sheets. If we are not going to be clincal enough for whatever reason clean sheets gurantee points. And I think we've kept 1 so far. It's not good enough and goes to show we need new defenders. At the moment though it looks like that isn't going to happen and for me we need a new goalkeeper.

We need to get some long ball mentality out the mindset. It just isn't working and I think passing along the floor would do us a lot more favours.

Agree with all that... If earnshaw doesnt want it let someone take it that will just blast it!!.... Penalties dont have to be fancy

I think BD is now saying about how it's not until November time his sides started picking up form. So he is buying more time for himself.

I think he even mentioned pre match last night Preston didn't start a winning run until January!!! So I do expect there to be more "bad luck" in the coming month or so.

Didn't Tyson take penalties before? I know he scored one against Derby and a couple of others, but don't recall him missing any? He should take them, he actually strikes the ball well in that situation. Failing that, Majewski should take them when playing.

'Bad Luck' is definetly the wrong phrase, as it would indicate things beyond our control, such as the referee awarding the opposition a goal which went wide, the football suddenly deflating as we were about to score, a lion eating Pual Smith as a penalty was being taken or the goal posts disappearing into a hole in the ground when we had an open net...

It's not really bad luck but I think we should consider how we're playing. If we were playing totally c--p and weren't making chances, then the term 'bad luck' would not be applicable anyway. However, I think we're playing fairly good football and all that was missing was a little good fortune. We're missing a good phrase to describe us. We need to keep the faith. Although Blackburn were not at full strength, their squad has qualities many Championship clubs haven't got. They were speedy and were good at keeping posession (good passing and good control). It was a good test and we were the superior team. I wasn't too downhearted coming away from the CG last night.
