I am not suprised at this news, Gunter at times shows enormous potential, yet at others, his age and relative inexperience show. One cannot blame Tottenham for holding on to his permanent signature, after all they did pay some serious money out for him.

Think you will find he will enjoy another seasons loan spell with us.

A permanent signing would be great but this would not be that bad. A season long loan would mean more time for him to enjoy living in Nottingham and he would be a star player in the CCC next season. There is a fair chance that Tottenham may ultimately decide to let him go anyway - out of sight out of mind.
