Hi guys
Its me again.. After the nightmare journey to Palace (why do we bother!!!) Its time for Cardiff.
As always, bus leaves the Old Spot at a NEW TIME of 10am.... Gets to the Test Match and leaves there at 10.30am
This should leave us plenty of pub time and a decent Sunday Lunch..

Real Ale and lunch down in the city of Dame Shirley Bassey, Charlotte Church and of course Terry Yorath!!!!

As always only like minded people welcome (Not the 3 planks who came on Saturday (Ironically they were left at Plymouth off the official bus)).

Thanks to those who joined us for the first time on Saturday, Sorry it just took so long.

Prices are £17.50 and can be brought from Test Match or contacting Alan 07751 915259 or Michael 07500 191904

Be great to see you.

Cheers ;D

Just getting to Selhurst Park I imagine. It's a shit location to reach (and indeed, a shit location in general)

Stuck in slow traffic on the motorway, again later on, making us unable to get to the pub we planned to stop at, a woman cutting us up by coming into the bus lane and the bus creasing all the way down her car, and running out of lager, or lack of putting it on the bus to start with, so bailing out at a Tesco's for supplies, :)

All in all a nightmare, but saying that it was still a good journey, at least the films that we had on passed away the time quickly.

It certainly wont put me off for future travel with them.

And yes it is a pain to get to Selhurst as winnits said.

This organisation is making a good honest effort to give us what we want. Palace trip was tough but we didn't know we would be stuck in traffic from half way round the M25. I've now only been to Selhurst Park twice. I can't see me going there again. I can't make the Cardiff game, sadly. Good to see that the three 'brain-cells' don't feel they are mature enough to travel with us in future. Looking forward to the next trip. Well-done, organisers.

wasn't one of them moaning on here the other week about being left behind in Plymouth. It would appear they now have some explaining of their own to do ;D

Fully agree with what has been said.
I have only missed Palace on this new bus, as I remember last year how long it took to get there, thats the reason I didnt bother going.
I knew Alan on the official buses and I find him sound, his cousin is cool too.
Glad you are having a zero tolerance to idiots,
I spoke to Alan at the pub and he just wants to get the pub full of decent regulars, He loves the forum and appreciates the support, it has helped that he has picked up some good people through it.
For those who dont know, they have gots loads going on with the bus (I received an email from the lads last week). Cheap books, chap memorabilia, players speaker sessions and a book signing from Duncan McKenzie coming up.
Before you ask, No I dont work for them lol, I only joined the LTFC forum this season, Will defo try and get to the Globe pre match though.

Still curious to what the THREE PLANKS Did! ! ! Intrigued ...........
To be blunt, pissing people off with pathetic whinging and annoying others.

The trip to Palace is a bad trip at any time. This was the worst we have been on in many years, We cannot legislate for the bad traffic, and to be honest there was nothing we could have done about it, apart from leave 2 hours earlier but it is the same for everyone.
We state on all our posts that we want like minded people who are coming for the same things we want, Good beer, food and banter and 3 points (The reds are unbeaten since we started this bus).
Whinging is something we get off our wife's and playing around is for our children.
Alan had a word with them on the way up and we will welcome everyone, but just be considerate of those around you.
If you look at a post they made on this forum a few weeks ago about being stranded at Plymouth when the other 300 people managed to get on the bus on time will give you an indication of their intentions. Alan has spoke to Mick (official bus) and the 3 lads who didn't get back on, there stories didn't differ much, apart from the fact that they thought they should have waited until THEY were ready to get back on.
Anyway, They are not welcome back with us, so it means more space will be available for others.
See you soon.

Come on, surely your Bus should have had wings and a Propeler and been able to miss the traffic! Agree with you 100% If your stuck in traffic, its tough tits end off day, you can moan moan and MOAN but end of day it aint going to help!

Well end of day hope they realise how popular they are and get a train next time and either get delayed OR they cancel the train back, now that would be a shame!

Glad Bus etc going well, seems like you all have a good tmie on the journey

YOUR REDS!!!!
