away shirt size?

ok , the mother in law says she'll buy me the away shirt for xmas (bless er') but can anyone tell me if the large size comes up normal size large? i've got this years home shirt in large and that's ok but the shirt from 2 years back was a bit tight in large so i had to get xl , any help appreciated

The length is usual, but you'll have to get the next size up to fit your head through the hole!

Sorry, can't help. I do know they come in several sizes though.

S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL and Commons.

My new medium away shirt is the same fit as last years home shirt in a medium.

thanks sam , is this due to to the fact you think i may have a head of jan molby (a f***ing big head or was it all hair ?) proportions or that the hole is actually quite small?

cheers tutts , i think i'll stick with large then if they seem normal , an xl might be like a dress on me as i'm stocky but not tall .

Wont the shirt be out of date by the end of May anyway? I thought the strips were only for one year this season, so I was a little hessitant in getting my home shirt.

sheff utd , middlesboro,barnsley,bristol city,doncaster are definites for the away kit to be worn & possibly blackpool & scunthorpe .
