Hi. I wonder if any of you guys can tell me Forest's starting line up from the first ever Sky Sports televised Premier League match – it was the 1-0 win over Liverpool on August 16 1992?

Basically I'm the editor of a new magazine called Football Punk, and I need to know for a fun feature in our news section.

Cheers.

sheringham whacked one into the top corner infront of the trent end.

ALSO it was David James' debut for Liverpool, and in the top flight.

It was a great game,, its a shame it all went so badly after this. We should have beaten Liverpool by more than 1 goal,, we totally outplayed them. Who would have predicted relegation leaving the City Ground after that match :(

I know! As well as that, the squad was pretty good looking at it. I dont know how we lost so many games. What a shame.

Ah, sweet memories! Thought we were gonna win league after this game! Also remember getting home to watch it back on sky. Sky being Sky with football as their new toy had started the program about 3 hours before k.o for some reason with absolutely nothing to show or talk about! although i did get on TV lurking around Trent end waiting for game to start! lol ;D

First game after the 1991 Cup Final and the team....argh I've lost my notes on the 1991 final and the DVD of the game.

Frantic scramble around the house time.

When Clough was asked afterwards about the relegation, he made some comment that selling Sheringham had caused it. I know we replaced Sheringham with Rosario which was stupid, but you would have thought that the team was easily good enough to stay up, with or without Sheringham.

My dad went to a Lincoln United game with my uncle, and Crosby was playing at the time.

My dad commented at the time how he could do a job for Forest, and lo and behold he signed for us a few years later.

Also, i though he was lying, even touh he doesnt, but i asked my uncle and he says he remembers what he said clear as day.
