:D That's why I said 'eloquent'. I didn't realise it was ending now anyway so Flagman please delete this thread. I just thought it was a great opportunity to get a response from a member of the Acquisitions Panel.
 
I'd imagine Pleat, a glorified chief scout would wonder what all the fuss was about.

It's not his job to go and sign players.
 
What is there to ask?

"Why didn't we sign anybody?"

"Because the players we wanted went to Premiership team."
