Just noticed some erratic attendances for the opening day in the Championship. QPR and Preston 14k, 13k. lester 26k. Do you think we can top 26k against the Baggies on saturday?

Yeah, but that isn't really impressive. More than half the ground is still empty

It's not as big an increase as I would have expected, to be honest, when you take into account the huge number of Bradford fans in attendance.

But what sort of fool would argue with the official figures just because it doesn't 'look' like there are that many spare seats. If you think about it none of the stands are anything like full. Plenty of gaps inbetween, especially where it's yellow and it stands out more. The Bradford end is only half full, and behind one of the goals it's pretty sparse.
Use your noggin' son, half full is about right all in all.

Looks to me like County are fiddling with the gate receipts!
To be fair i'd say there look to be loads more than 9000. Fiddling with the gate reciepts has been going on for years all around the country. If i were working the gates at County i'd deffo do it, Sven might be gone next week and they'll be down to 4500 again. Take the opportunity while its there..

The missing 4000 or so actually got in free of charge and weren't counted in the Stats. Why? Well Sven was entertaining them at half time
