i was the gobby tw$t in the orange trackie top, sat at halfway line in brian clough lower, trying to re-live my youth. the team certainly played like the team i knew (43 yrs old..) at least in the first half, almost brought a tear to my jap's eye. i did get a little emotional. forest always do that to me. always will.

thanks youth. i don't get back much, so the performance v newcastle was special. maybe i lucked out?

it was a long day, started at 1pm in Fire+Ice in Bridgford, didn't realise it was a 5.20 kick off, tottered down to the ground, afterwards back to Bridgford where we found a suitable place, Robbo and Ian Storey Moore outside with their wives, icing on the cake for us, Robbo came in to the bar (after I'd asked his wife's permission) and chatted with us for 10 mins.

then me and The Marine made our way to Pitcher and Piano, must be 10'ish by now getting blurry dunno how we were allowed into the Arena but at least Frochy won!! insane inside that arena, coppers were pissing themselves people too blotto'ed to even consider doing something naughty.

head hit the pillow at 4.30 a.m

now THATS old skool!!

Trust the woman to go by looks... He has the wise experienced head of Segred and the fantastic humour of Anatoli together with a dash of fierce loyalty for friendship like Eric and a few others on here... Probably couldn't pay a higher compliment... :)

You missed us getting promoted and all sorts.... half decent manager we've got now as well - and Derby have gone shit... and Clough is managing them (sort of)! :D

Wes is still centre back, mind. We've signed Christiano Ronaldo but he's calling himself Paul Anderson and the actual cult hero is Nathan Tyson, by virtue of sticking around for more than three seasons and waving a flag. It's all go.

Oh and we're in the Premiership next season according to the little voice in all our heads.
