At Least Pearce knows where his loyalties lie...

I love the fact of Nigel ringing Psycho for advice to be told that he could have all the help he wanted, unless they're playing Forest.

I love that Pearce is a legend :)

"Clough is guaranteed a warm reception after making 317 appearances for Forest as a striker from 1984-1993 during his father's spell at manager."

I bloody hope not, he's managing the scum for gods sake.

Perhaps he's guaranteed to not get the sort of reception most other D*rby managers would get.

I hope the fans rise above doing the obvious thing and give him stick.

It would piss the Direby lot off more if we gave him a good reception.

Commons and the travelling flock can have all the abuse coming, but it would be nice to see Nigel get a good reception.

He got no stick at pride park, I don't see why it will be any different at the City Ground.

He wont get a warm reception, he will be treated either with abuse or just indifference. I hope so anyway

I met Nige at a recent do at the club. A real nice guy and modest. I would hate him to get stick. But.......we should rise above it and give him polite but UNENTHUSIASTIC applause.

Yes, you're right, the morons are those prepared to barrack the D*rby County manager. Just how could they? ::)

Do you think the D*rby supporters would offer a round of applause if Kevin Hector became the Forest chief, opening his tenure by affirming that the Reds have always been in his heart?

If Clough leaves D*rby in six months time and goes on to manage another club I will wish him well. But the fact remains that while he is managing our rivals I wish him nothing but incessant professional misfortune. Treating him as an old friend popping in for a chat is simply not in line with the ill-feeling between our clubs.

The kind of man I respect is the subject of this thread. He has stated previously that, having spent his career at Forest, he could never go on to manage or represent D*rby. That is my kind of man.

Clough can, if you'll forgive the childish outburst, get f**ked.

Maybe Pearce should 'get f**ked' too, then?

but in the pic you've posted Rich it looks like he's not kissing the Derby badge but something that's on another t-shirt under the Sheep top. Sure I've heard somewhere before that was a Forest T-shirt he had on and pulled the Tricky Tree up and kissed that.

He's also wearing Garibaldi Red boots ;)

I think he was spitting on the badge if I'm not mistaken.

Or at least feigning a spit, anyway.

just as good, knew he'd never kiss that piece of shit! ;)
