Probably below Jones and Bergval but the fact we're apparently still in for him suggests those two are viewed as not going to happen/doubtful
 
Is this guy any better than macatee? He's been tearing up the top Scottish league with a side that doesn’t really have many competitors, well for half a season maybe, and the Celtic fans don’t seem overly bothered if he goes…

I’m all in!

I think this will be at least the third window we’ve been after him, someone at the club obviously rates him highly.
 
Whenever I’ve seen him play his first instinct seems to be to hit long hopeful balls forward to Celtic’s (admittedly handy) front men. Works quite well against dodgy Scottish defenders.
Not sure I’ve seen him do much else.
Mind you the “gerrit forrud” crew might like him.
 
I do wonder if there's some kidololgy/brinkmanship happening here. It could be completely rubbish that Forest are putting out there in order to make the likes of Spurs and Liverpool think we've got other targets

Akin to giving Halle Berry an ultimatum otherwise I might go with Susan Boyle?

Not that Burgval/Jones are in that league.
 
I think we want a main Anderson replacement (Bergval at top of list) and this guy as more of a squad player/ decent alternative/ option for set pieces. As stated, we wanted him last window & apparently still do but he'll be coming as well as a more expensive cm if he does come.

We wouldn't have made so many bids for him in January if we weren't serious.

It was only O'Neill's flat out refusal to entertain a sale that stopped him coming here.
 
Wharton is good, but he would cost most of the Anderson money, plus I think if available he'd end up at one of the supposed big clubs.
 
Heard nothing on this one for a while, I think he looks a decent option even at Celtics 25m asking price, wonder if he's an option if we step away from Bergvall because Spur's continue to play sill buggers
 
Is anyone else interested in him? Do Celtic need to sell? It seems like we have been keen for a while, so it’s interesting that it’s all gone quiet.
