Probably not too far from the truth. Brought to the club, managed badly ... got pissed off. Can't blame him for that. Dyche was incapable of developing a Plan B for Forest that could have offered a different type of threat when Plan A wasn't working and so he was discarded. I very much blame Forest and not the player.
Perhaps he just has a bad attitude?

Or

Forest are a mess.

I know where my vote goes.
And mine too.
Firstly, we give him no game time for weeks.
Then he starts 1 game and fails to impress.
Eventually he gets his chance in the Europa League, finds the net a couple of time, and is dropped them shipped out by Dyche who shows signs of francophobia, heightism, and strategic bypass by letting a goal scorer leave when we have the lowest goals scored in the Premier League.
Never given a fighting chance to settle.
No wonder he displayed signs of alienation.

Agreed. A definitely lack of joined up thinking.

I've moaned about it many times, but this hilarious "Recruitment-Coach setup is better!" claim has rarely worked for us - it's wild that people still think that's the model to use here just because it works at other, less erratic clubs.

Edu's bought a player who got no joy under 3 managers... that's hardly the "smooth transition" behind the Recruitment-coach theory, where we supposedly buy players for a set system so that managerial transitions are smooth.

The club needs to find 1 good man in 1 of those roles and entrust him - as it is it's just constantly cycling people in both and it leaves us a mess.

Syrianos has the best record here, just let him crack on with it without folk like Edu to interfere.

He scored with his only shot on target - and we can not score 1 goal with 100 shots - and of course we have no recall. Still at least we have Pizza Crouch to rely on......

And Eintracht are down to ten men, as well, and still winning.

They love him there, I have to tell you.

We’ll laugh about this one day. Maybe.

I fully accept that he is doing well over there and has had a run of games as a starter, which obviously helps. It is also my opinion that for one reason or another, he barely looked like a footballer for us most of the time he played.
Could we use the Kalimuendo that's playing well in Germany? Yes. Is it likely he would have performed like that for us in the Premier League? I don't think so.

He wasn't using him.

And we brought in a giraffe instead, thus following the dinosaur's modus operandi.
I think the fact that Dyche was clearly on thin ice in January I doubt his leaving was 100% down to him. He might have agreed with it but if they thought a new manager was coming in then why wouldnt they just keep him around just in case. Unless there was an underlying problem and they wanted him out the club at the earliest opportunity.

Do you really think Dyche suggested he leave before a replacement came in?
