Are we Derby in disguise?

Any supporter requesting the equivalent number of adult and child tickets will now be issued all tickets free of charge.

Does this mean if I buy 3 adult tickets and 3 child tickets, but don't have any children to take (although a couple of my younger cousins have expressed an interest in going to a match so I would probably use them anyway) that ALL tickets will be free? Or just the child ones?

No we are not. This is Plymouth's decision, not ours. Part of there own World Cup bidding apparently (what they actually mean is noone are turning up to games so there giving away tickets to make the ground look full whilst its being shown on national TV :wink:)
 
I dont get it? Are all tickets free?
 
The way I read it on the Forest OS was that if you buy 1 adult and 1 child ticket you get both free

Buy 2 Adult 1 child - pay for one adult

Buy 1 Adult 2 children - pay for one child

Buy just adult or just child ticket - hand over the cash (unless your a soap & tax dodging student :ph34r: )

They're being a bit thick here, or is it just me. If i wanted to go on my own and pay for just one under 18 ticket, id just get an adult ticket aswell, and therefore I'd be able to get it for free.

There must be some small print somewhere that each adult must be accompanied by a child at the turnstiles

I've just rang up and got a ticket for myself and my son absolutely free!!
The adult ticket AND child ticket are both free, and you can sit anywhere in the ground.

They're sending them out in the post today.

Soooo, what if we were all to get tickets with a child ticket, and say the child fell ill and couldnt go, would they refuse us entry to the ground for not being accompanied by a child?
You would just see adults bribing any child to go with them to gain entry wouldnt it look a bit suss if a load of Forest fans were offering sweets and suchlike to the local kids? :ph34r: :)

They'l want to keep this quiet, but Argyle are DESPERATE for people to come to the game. The official attendance was 8,300 against Watford on tuesday night, a shocking attendance in itseld, but that figure includes all season ticket holders... about 2000 of which didn't bother to turn up.

Tickets are free, you don't need a child to go with you. (And anyway isn't your lad under 18? If so you won't have a problem anyway) :)

He is, but has an away season ticket, maybe they will refund his bank account as the money gets taken out each time a ticket is posted to him.
 
Tempted for this now.

Wasn't going to bother really as: its on a s**t day, with a s**t kick off time, against a s**t side, in a s**t stadium and takes a s**t load of time to get there!! While i could watch it fromt he comfort of my pit!!

However, it's not very often football fans get 'free' tickets so why the offer is there....why not? :). Will be able ta take me brother whos 16 as the child so will work out well!!

Result.
 
Couldnt one of you take Seaon Ticket Teen to Plymouth, to cover the child ticket side?

If I want a ticket but also get a childs ticket, it's free.

Surely everyone will just get a childs ticket too? It's a bloody long way for a game that's on the telly box, though.

Actually, does anyone fancy some minibus action a la Crystal Palace last season?

Does seem very odd. I've heard roumers that unless your with a child when entering the stadium, entry will be refused. However, there's not a chance they are going to refuse thousands of people who have done this deal simply to get a free adult ticket.....surely!? (Because I'm sure that's whats going too happen?)

Luckily for me my brother is 16, so tht'll work out nicely. I'm in the same dilema really as it's one hell of a treck to go on a Sunday morning when it's live on Sky and it's also my missus's birthday!!

Then again it's very tempting as it's not everyday you get offered football tickets free of charge, and I can tick Plymouth off the list!! The only way I think I could travel is official coach :(. I absolutely hate them and haven't been on for years....but £18 for an away day, which ever way you look at it, isn't bad value.

There's nothing like proper live football, as good as laying in my bed watching it sounds!! Just isn't the same!
