Well heres a challenge for you boys n girls..

Does anyone know when this vintage jacket was from? I bought it today for £25 from 'Vintage warehouse' (next door to Laser Quest).
I'm really hoping for someone to say like it was an actual players in a 1980's-90's cup final season or something, but even if it is just hand made and nothing else.. It'l certainly brighten up matchdays..!!

Doesnt look like anything official, I say that simply because i've never seen the badge on a shield like that before.

I'm really sorry to do this to you but I think I've seen Ebby wearing that!

It's not an official product i'm afraid so i hope you bought it because you liked it as it is probably not worth a fifth of what you paid for it.

Something tells me we had a badge in a shield in the mid 90's,just before and around the Van Hoojdonk & Brian Roy era.If i remember rightly we also had black in the home strip aswell just like on the jacket.

Yeah well I guess this is the only positive to take from all that then..

Haha, I tryed it on in the shop (I wrote that to let people know about it as theres other 'retro forest shizzle' in there) and think it looks alright. You'll certainly notice me amongst the brian clough stand anyway!
Its nice suede material and says official player product inside if that means anything..? either way.. £25 well spent.

I care zero% for that shop, just thought I'd be saving a post or two by letting people know where I gorrit.

But yeah.. everything else is shit, The staff are boring and look borderline suicidal, and I doubt I'll go there again in the next year. Who else needs convincing?

I used to have one of those, hmm, how to describe it, felty type material jackets with fake leather shoulders? It was awful but I liked it at the time lol

God knows how much it set my Ma back at the time.

If it's any consolation, I reckon yours is more stylish than mine was lol
