Anyone missing CC yet?

Don't bite my head off but who thinks it would be any worse with Colin still in charge? We were heading in the right direction with Calderwood weren't we? He would have had signings lined up for Janurary who could have added experience to the squad and Camp would have signed wouldn't he?

what do you think?

personally i think CC just fell short of what should be expected but can Davies push the club forwards?

It would be difficult for anyone to do worse than Davies is currently. Implied criticisms and downright slagging off of players in the press coupled with awful one-dimensional garbage football is bringing the worst out of these players. I wanted rid of CC but we are going backwards since he left.

I'm not missing CC because if the media hand't told me he'd gone and Davies had arrived, I'd be none the wiser, based on the games I've seen and heard since.

Still too early to make my mind up but sadly I'm seeing everything in Davies that I didn't want to. He always seems to talk about his teams in future terms when they struggle. When he sucked at Derby he was resigned to them going down so early on it was almost full on surrender, now he's talking about us like none of the games will count until he gets to spend money in the summer.

That's the other thing, he always seems to talk about squads like the only way he can change anything is to spend, which is bollocks. Sure that might be an easier way but there are always things you can do. Does anybody know what he spending record is like? I've always had the impression he spent lots at Preston and Derby but not really looked it up.

Lastly why does he seem to piss off players at ever club he's at. I can understand that some managers, CC even by some accounts, are too soft on players but you can be hard on them without pissing some of them off. It seems like Davies goes out of his way to piss off a couple at whatever club he's at for no obvious reason.

The guy is really beginning to strike me as a bit of a tit, I'm just praying we stay up. We'ver certainly lost the little bit of daylight we'd gained.

The thing is that under Colin Calderwood, you could see what he was trying to do with the squad he had? Granted, too many times it didn't work (and that was probably down to him being caught out by the ability of other teams in the Championship).

But are we any better off now? We have a new Manager, who downplays the ability of some of his players, and although honest (sometimes refreshingly so) the overall standard of football hasn't improved. We can play better than we currently are with the current players we have; Reading and Birmingham at home and the second cup game against the sheep (even though we lost) were proof of that.

We looked average today, and worringly, face Reading next week then a very tough March programme. I don't want us to be going in to the last five or six games in the bottom three, and having to win all those games just to stay up.

People were even questioning Earnies signing after he went about 5 or 6 games without scoring.

I think patience is the key word for the next couple of months.

i had a dream i went out for a posh meal with calderwood, we flirted and i went back to his house.

i then woke up with a confused semi.

i had a dream about billy davies the other day, we went to wimpys and yates.

i then woke up with no blood in my penis.

No.

He was nearly as out of depth as his defence.

And I bet the people who want CC back are the same f*ckers that were screaming to have him sacked when he was here. You reap what you sow.......

I feel more anger at BD's words than I ever did Colin's ...

knee jerk reaction or just being fickle ... I don't care ... but Billy davies can f*** off

the thing is CC is a nice bloke who didn't do well at this level but tried his best and made a bloody good go of it, and I'd gladly buy him a pint or two, Billy Davies is just a cock who blames everyone else but himself and I'd gladly smash a pint over him
just look at our results since he came

strikes me that it doesn't matter who is the manager here as they all seem to do shit (or have done for a long, long time) and seem to go on to better things when they've gone. i can't endear myself to davies as he come's across as a bit of a twat to be honest but i honestly think we could have mourinho here but with our resources available and it would still be like groundhog day ....f***ing shit results !
