my nan has been researching the fammily tree and we know that we have one person from the fammily who played for forest (wiliam sharp former mayor) but we have come across 2 more from when forest where a amatuer side we think they are father and son all I can find on them is bellow can anyone tell me the games they played in and the games they scored in I know forest had quite a few cup runs during that time.
george tutin played 9 fa cup games scored 6 goals, with the club form 1885-1890
oliver tutin 1887-1888 played 2 fa cup game
now theres no league apearences but Im presuming thats due to the fact there wasnt a league format until 1890 when forest joined the alaince.
finding some awesome facts out aswell while digging this up, like forest where the pioneers of flood lit matches, games called of due to crowd trouble between derby and forest in 1894.
forest are responsible for the toons kit as they had a simular kit to forest and where forced to play in the black and white striped kit they liked it so much they stuck with it.
always knew about the arsenal conection with the shirts just didnt realise it was 2 former forest players that actualy founded the club.
