becuase the only thing that kept us in the right end of that table was our home form, and those type of back to back wins happen once every 20 years if not more, if we dont sort out our away form or replicate last seasons, without the wins at home we will struggle.

Of course those days days are long gone. The point I was making is, no matter how well things are going on the pitch, some people will still not be happy. I don't know if all clubs are the same, but a lot of Forest fans do seem a pessimistic bunch by nature.

All fans are the same. Look at some Man U and chelsea forums. Actually I think it's a british thing rather than football thing.

I may be in a minority (?) but I just like watching Forest.

Yes, I'd love to see them in the Premier League again, winning trophies, and I'm old enough to have seen the European Cup wins.

But to me, I just enjoy the match day experience, the pre-match pint, walking to the ground, and cheering on the Reds. If they win, great, if they don't, not so great, but it's all part and parcel of being a Forest fan.

There is so much nonsense put about (mostly by Sky) regarding the "Big 4" and similar such rubbish; the "Big 4" wouldn't be the "Big-4" without the league's other clubs; despite attempts to the contrary, they've realised they will kill the game if they do form some sort of "Super League" targeted at the more-fickle end of the market; those "plastic" fans mentioned in Rufus' post above would soon get bored.

I think when you hear man utd fans booing their side at half time at old Trafford against Sunderland last season were not really that bad in comparison IMO.
