Just wondered what people thought.

He's not getting a game for Sunderland is he?

A 3 month loan with a recall option to keep him match fit just in case?

He'd be class at this level.

No thanks.....never liked him when he was here the first time! He's like scummons only having one good game in 10!

Like Commons ... only he has had a career in the Premiership, and is probably too good for us...

Reid was and still is much much better than Commons....I would love to see him back but its never going to happen.

Yes please, loved watchin him in the garibaldi. Bags of quality, quality that we need. Would also free cohen to play in the middle of the ****in park!

There were months in a row where Andy Reid was the only reason for going and watching Forest. He was a class act capable of producing a final ball or a top-class goal at any minute from almost anywhere on the pitch - at second division level. He really matured just as the Forest side was starting to go downhill. To compare him to Commons is insane, Commons didn't even tear up League One. Reid would get in any team in this division and wouldn't be out of place in many bottom-half Premiership sides. Which is why I think he won't be coming back to Forest for any reason.

Reid was quality, going past players, bish, bash, bosh but soon as he went up a league he became fat and very average. Still got a very good left peg on him was as he can show from time to time so think he would be very for our left side but be surprised if it did happen. He was better then that fat Kris .

Agree with pretty much all of that.

So do I. I also laugh at people who would turn down a Premiership level left midfielder for no fee even considering we have NO left midfielder in our entire squad.

We could do better? Who, exactly?

We have good possession but struggle to turn that into chances, our delivery from wide area's and set pieces is poor, we lack goals from midfield.

Yeah, Reid would do a job...

I would welcome andy reid back to forest straight away if he is available. He was a class player for us and i used to love watching him play; if anything he has got better since his forest days.

One thing we currently suffer from is a the lack of a player who can provide, consistently, a decent final ball.

Andy Reid has that ability in spades.

Would I like to see him back in a Forest shirt? Definitely.

Will we seem him back in a Forest shirt (with our record on recent signings...) I don't think so.

Which is a pity really, as he's just the sort of player we need - someone who can pick a pass, deliver a decent cross, and has the vision and creativity that we sometimes lack.

Billy'd get him in shape, look what he's done for McGoogle.

Somebody photoshop Billy Davies' head onto Mr Motivator. Its clearly called for.

I duno about the best forest player in the last decade; a certain michael dawson springs to mind for me. What a player dawson was; i remember the gasps from the crowd watching him ping those passes from one end to the other. And that goal against burnley i think when we couldnt score and he whacks one from 30 odd yards.
