No no no I feel confident on this one. The Village Inn is in West Runton but the camp site is in Beeston Regis................the campsite is notable because it has a church in the middle!parisred said:

Crofters is / was on the main street on the left hand side as you walk towards the sea front. Small and intimate place serving food with a German influence.

bloody hell, just to the left of the campsite , there is a small lake just on the edge of the cliffs, i remember walking past that nearly thirty years ago

No it's still there. You can ring them on 01263 822151 to check. I know which one it is now they do good lunches and toasted teacakes of an afternoon. Got admit though I spent more time in the Two Lifeboats.
