You are the sort of chap that would have been in the front row of the original forum, where Christians were fed to lions.

Just had a look (albeit quick) but couldn't find anything.

When they shown it in slow motion on Setanta sports you can see the damage being done. It was horrible.

Made me feel sick. :(

It's not a compliment, you should have been in the second row where the snacks were better and you could get a better view of the bears and crocodiles.
All good things come to those who wait.

Oh man. I hate to be picky what with you being brainy and everthing; but wasn't the Forum were the Roman Senate met and also didn't they keep the Vestal Virgins there?
They may have fed Christians to the Lions, but only as a lunchtime thing.

I think the lions and Christians thing was just around the corner in the Colosseum. i could be wrong of course.......that did happen once before.

You forget, I live in Norfolk. The vestal virgins were your sisters under the age of 7. They lived in your Dad's bed. The Roman senate met in the village hall. There was Roman and Groucho Senate, the Village Siamese twins. I was talking about the Norwich forum. They broadcast Look East from there. It's half an hour of silent village idiots craning their necks to the left.

The Vesta virgins were people that had not tasted a rank boxed paella during the 1970's.

Ummmmmmmmmmmm Norfolk sounds quite a lot like Alabama, except the guys here get to wear white sheets over their heads.

Vesta Virgins.......sorry can't match that lol (match get it?) :D

I always liked Norfolk and once nearly bought a flat over a butchers shop in Holt.

I used to take the kids on day trips to Cromer and Sheringham if they were really bad!

Cromer is of course the seaside town immortalised in the song 'Didn't we have a lovely day the day we went to Cromer'.

It's Bangor I think, and I got crabs there once...

I know it was just poetic license.........to brighten up a quiet Friday afternoon.

Try the white powder for the crabs it does work! And you should stay away from the Welsh girls.

There are three major crab beds in this country: First, Cromer on the North Norfolk Coast. Nearby Sheringham is famous for it's lobsters. Cromer Crabs tend to be small and juicy. Secondly, Craster crabs in Northumberland. Craster crabs tend to be bigger and may have hairy shells. Finally, Katie Price.

In fact what year was it?

Gay Man's Monthly Tug was a very respectable publication covering a wide range of major world issues.

no was west runton, now let me see, the pub is on the right if you are travelling ermm shitalong the coast tomards king lynn away from yarmouth, if that makes sense, i cant say if it was east to west or west to east because one of the attractions of west runton was that the sun raises and sets in the sea, well that tells you what kind of place it was
tenpole tudour played in the pub the week before we went, and the man in the bar gave me a madness comic, which i lost later.
we used to go winkle picking and boil them ourselves.

the sun raises?? f*** me my english is terrible , the sun rises, pissing transitive verbs

I must have been Lobsters I caught because they didn't walk sideways but the white powder still got 'em.
