Anderson vows to score goals....

Did he used to score much in League 1 with Swansea or whoever it was?
 
Growing some nuts and running at people instead of turning back on himself every time would be a start.
 
I just want anderson to start playing how we all know he can play; i dont really care whether he scores loads of goals (Well i do but you know what i mean). Id rather have an in form anderson struggling to score goals than an out of form anderson making statements like this; just concentrate on getting your form back mate because the goals will come if you do.
 
needs to learn a trick or two so he can get round defenders first.
 
Needs to learn to stop standing on the ball before that!
 
He needs to forget about scoring goals just concentrate on what his job is on a football pitch is and sort out his final ball. His crossing isn't great at times on par with Tyson.So if he sorts that aspect out then he can concentrate on upping his goal tally.

He should have at least 3 goals with the chances he's had in front of goal so far.

I don't think he has scored no.

TBH I think Anderson is a dreadful winger. Can't run at defenders, cross, shoot, very one footed and loses the ball when he's dribbling.

Not really. He's had a couple of tough ones at the Bridgford End which were really very well taken and excellently saved.

Another thing I noticed is that he actually gets in really good positions and is often unnoticed by his team mates. It happened 2 or 3 times just at Doncaster, when he was totally unmarked on the edge of the box and could have been played in but wasn't.

He has goals in him, though I agree with what's said about him not running at defenders, I said it weeks ago, and it's pretty frustrating. He has the pace and ability, just not the confidence. This is why Tyson and McCleary, for whatever flaws they may have, should be getting decent game time ahead of Anderson, because simply, they can and do go past people and, if they get tackled a couple of times, they don't give up, which is a pretty vital thing for a decent wide player to have.

When he first came here, i'm sure he said he prefered playing on the left wing as that's what he did at swansea and he could cut in and score more goals.............
 
I think your right, as i was confused when I discovered he was actually a right sided winger.
 
I thought Andy Robinson played on the left when Ando was at Swansea? Any footage i remember seeing of him at the Swans was on the right.
 
didnt have any problems when he was on the left wing and in form last season

I think the only goal I saw him score for Swansea he cut in from the right and curled one in the top corner with his left foot!
 
I do like Ando and he is a good player, but sometimes he just needs to be aware of his surroundings more. Also he doesn't seem to have a run at defenders that much anymore.
