DONCASTER ROVERS midfielder Brian Stock is picking up interest from Sunderland, Wolves, Birmingham and Nottingham Forest according to the Daily Star.

The 27-year-old reportedly wants a move away from the Championship side to have a shot at the Premier League and Doncaster will, according to internet rumours, accept £2million.

Just one signing would be very much appreciated Mr D

I did wonder why he hadn't been mentioned already as we showed interest when he left bournemouth and he is also meant to be pretty highly rated.

Also the transfer window is not open yet so expecting deals is a little premature (if we announce them early before they're official people can gazump us).

Sounds reliable.

Never worth 2 million. A good player but as yet not exactly proven.

Proven in what sense? He's completely proven at this level as he has just had a fantastic season in partnership with Richie Wellens, where he has shown that he is comfortable in the championship. Personally, there are areas I'd rather strengthen, but I certainly would not turn my nose up at the chance of signing Stock.

One of the best midfielders in the league, IMO. Has been brilliant everytime I've seen him.
