All Respect Is Now Out Of The Window.

Like many on here my thoughts now of Nigel Clough & his phucking team are right out of the window.

My respect for the guy is now nil after reading the article below.

In todays DEP Nigel Clough had this to say.....................

http://www.thisisderbyshire.co.uk/sport/Clough-reason-apologise/article-1798394-detail/article.html

"We feel we were provoked at the City Ground earlier this season and what started it off on Saturday was three red shirts converging on Jay McEveley," said Clough.

"The last thing we want is confrontation but we don't expect our team-mates and staff to stand around and do nothing.

"No punches were thrown or anything, all we did was react to three Forest players converging on Jay McEveley.

"It was just a matter of supporting your team-mate and it probably looked a lot worse than it was.

The above statement I would like to dissect and prove what a total c**t he is:

Quote:
"We feel we were provoked at the City Ground earlier this season and what started it off on Saturday was three red shirts converging on Jay McEveley," said Clough.

Answer:
What about the 3-4 white shirts that converged on Tyson at the CG?

Quote:
"The last thing we want is confrontation but we don't expect our team-mates and staff to stand around and do nothing.

Answer:
What of Derby's staff at the CG when they ran 100 yards and started throwing punches at our players?

Quote:
"No punches were thrown or anything, all we did was react to three Forest players converging on Jay McEveley.

Answer:
Only one player (Gunter) originally challenged McEverley when he chased him for the ball he ran off with - other Forest players only converged on the guy when he turned round and stuck the ball in Gunter's face.

Quote:
"It was just a matter of supporting your team-mate and it probably looked a lot worse than it was.

Answer:
DITTO - other than the fact it was the Forest players & the staff trying to make sure Gunter didn't react to having the ball pushed into his face by pulling him away.

****************************************

Every piece of NLN statement has been turned around to make it sound that Forest was the villians in all of it once again.

NIGEL CLOUGH YOU ARE A PHUCKING TOP OF THE RANGE NOB!!!! AND I NOW LOOK FORWARD TO THE DAY YOU GET YOUR P45.

When he was first made Derby manager, I still liked him for what he did at Forest. But now, he's just showing himself up to be a proper ****.

All valid points.

What he said at the CG about management not getting involved went out of the window at prideless park when it was his player that was being "converged on."

Earlier in the same article he contradicts himself by saying that the officials didn't know which way to give the throw and that it was their ball but the ref changed the decision - well surely that shows it was our ball. He doesn't mention that cock McEveley runing off with the ball.

NLN is a first class carragher. I'm glad I never had his name on my shirt.

Is it me or is it telling that he doesn't outright deny the "knee" but claims " if it happened it was an accident"

He probably thinks it will keep the Direby fans on his side so even if they get relegated he can still be in a job next season.

He is a cnut, I have never liked him.

Last season when Forest were stuttering under CC, his bags must have been packed when we played Barnsley? at home and won 1-0, this gave CC a stay of execution which may have been a pivotal point of Forest's season, as BD did not have long enough to asses the squad and replacements in the January window.

Little later but did the sheep doing us grant NLN a stay of execution, he now holds hero status for leading them to this historic victory, they won their cup final so cannot get rid for a while.........long enough to take them to the drop zone ?

its sad that Nigel has turned against us. Maybe its something to do with the way Forest treated BC towards the end, maybe its lots of things, i dont know. All I can say is, when he was playing in a red shirt he was fantastic for us, spent most of his career playing for us in some great teams, when calderwood was sacked I really wanted him to manage us and was gutted when he went to derby, but I was wrong, and Im glad things have panned out the way they have, but cant believe nigel would turn the forest fans against him, when 99.9% of us loved him when he was at forest.

Just going off topic here, and it's something that as just occurred to me.

Could both teams get points deducted as well as the fines that might be imposed?

I wouldn't mind seeing Direby get points deducted which then resulted in them getting relegated but I'd hate to think a points deduction would result in us not getting promotion.

still here...
Any respect for Nige went out the window when he started referring to Robbie Savage as Sav. Fair enough calling players nicknames within the club, but when being interviewed? It was cringeworthy when Steve McLaren did his JT and Stevie and is no less so for the young Clough.

Clough attended a media event yesterday when the Rams announced they are to donate clothes from the club's shop to victims of the Haiti Earthquake disaster.

Haven't those poor people been through enough?

He calls Savage 'Sav' because it is a pet name. Didn't you realise that they are shirt-lifters? Savage is the 'girl'. Nigel has got sucked into all this Forest hatred thing - partly historical because of his dad's sacking here and partly because he is feeling the pressure. I would love it if they feel even more pressure - I don't think their run of fixtures is very easy and there are one or two 'good' clubs below them who will not lie down and accept relegation. I can see the sheep in either 3rd or 4th from bottom!

Everybody thought Nige would be a 'chip off the old block' unfortunately this hasn't proved to be the case.

Having said that - it took Brian a while to get a club moving in the right direction.

It's turning out that Nige is not half the man or manager that Brian was.
