Don’t think the non league clubs think that. It was basically their reserves and only a handful bothered to turn up!
Did hear a couple of “you reds” though.
Whoever thought it was a good idea to bring a drum needs to think again 🤣

Hence the caveats of the quotation marks around "competitive" and the in principle part. :)

Fantastic result for the U18s today, away at Blackburn who are notoriously very strong at academy level, an 8-0 win, after being 7-0 up after 35 minutes, with 15 year old Jaxon Tomak scoring the 8th.

A lot of under 16s in the squad and a lot of first year scholars as well! Really promising. Azae Bonnick started and scored as well.

He picked Azae Bonnick as the youngster to watch at Forest - which many felt was a bit too much since he is no where close to the first team, unlike what the other club reporters did. I would have said Jair Cunha or Lamine Silah or maybe Grady McDonnell

Nick Mashiter sits atop his stolen throne with a wry smile on his face. Perhaps this Azae Bonnick might be worth a couple of runs out in the cup?

If we aren’t adding any players to squad in this window - who is most likely to make break thru? Feels like an opportunity

Jimmy Sinclair?
Grady McDonnell?
